  • FULL-TIME POLICE OFFICER: The Montgomery County Consortium of Communities (on behalf of their respective Civil Service Commissions and/or Municipalities), and the Township of Warminster (Bucks County) will be conducting a written examination for the position of entry level Police Officer on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Montgomery County Community College, Parkhouse Hall, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.

As part of the testing process, the North Wales Borough Police Department, along with 15 other communities, will begin accepting applications from qualified candidates beginning Wednesday, January 23, 2019. All applications must be submitted in electronic form no later than 5 PM on Thursday, February 28, 2019. A fee of $25.00 must be paid at the time of application using a PayPal account linked to the application. Applicants who do not have access to a computer may utilize a public library to submit their application.

The minimum qualifications for entry level police officer are found within the electronic application and may vary for each participating department. All applicants who achieve a passing score in the written examination will also be required to pass a physical agility test.   • PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER: This is a non-civil service position. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and must have completed Act 120 Training (certificate must be presented at time of application). Must be able to pass a background check. This officer is expected to work 16 to 25 hours per week. Must be able to work shift work, including weekends. Prior police experience preferred.
